Pam J. Legaspi, CPA
Manager
Pam joined King, King, Alleman & Jensen in 1982. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1976. After working in private industry for two years, she entered public accounting in 1978 and received certification two years later.
Supervising the preparation of compiled financial statements and tax accounting engagements for small business clients are primary responsibilities for Pam as a firm Manager. She also studies current payroll tax regulations and oversees the preparation of quarterly and annual payroll and sales tax returns, including payroll returns for individual clients with household employees. Pam's professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), and the American Woman’s Society of Certified Public Accountants.
“Working with small business clients and watching their businesses grow continues to be professionally satisfying for me,” remarked Pam when discussing her involvement with clients and in the firm’s growth over the years.
“In her position as Manager, Pam is an integral member of the KKA&J team,” said Managing Partner Dennis King when describing how her creative ideas on improving efficiency without sacrificing quality have contributed to the firm's success. “Pam is meticulous in her work and provides valuable assistance training our junior staff in accounting work paper techniques.”
Pam previously served on the Burbank Family YMCA Board of Directors for six years, including two years as Secretary and one year as chairperson of the Finance committee. Living in Burbank, Pam and her husband, Gene, enjoy spending time with their son. Pam also enjoys relaxing at home, tending her garden, and cheering for the baseball players her son has played with who now play professionally. She is also an avid Los Angeles Angels fan.
