Louis N. Hamel, CPA
Partner
Louis N. Hamel joined King, King, Alleman & Jensen in 1997 following his graduation from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, emphasis in Accounting. He became a Partner in the firm in 2006.
Louis works in KKA&J’s Audit Department specializing in audit and consulting services for manufacturing, construction and distribution clients. Louis also works on several employee benefit plan audits and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA).
“The most important aspect of my job is developing strong working relationships with our clients,” said Louis. With an easygoing personality, Louis enjoys working with people and takes great pride in his role as an advisor and consultant. Outside the office he enjoys sports and recreational activities. As a fan of all sports, Louis regularly catches his favorite teams in action at various arenas and stadiums and enjoys playing basketball and golf. Outside of sports, he appreciates time spent going to the theater, museums and reading.
Louis has served as co-Treasurer for the Burbank Junior Chamber of Commerce since 2000. He was recently appointed to the Board of Directors as Treasurer for Night Basketball and Books, a Pasadena-based, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to assist at-risk children, youth and young adults by providing a safe environment of academic study and basketball. Born and raised in Van Nuys, California, he now lives in Burbank. “Louis is sharp witted with a great sense of humor,” remarked Managing Partner Dennis King. “We all enjoy the great work ethic and refreshing attitude he brings to KKA&J.”
