Charles "Bud" R. Alleman, CPA
Partner

Bud Alleman joined King, King, Alleman & Jensen in 1974, just a few days after graduating California State University, Northridge, where he earned an Accounting degree. He became Partner in 1979. Bud served four years in the United States Air Force prior to his university studies, spending a year in Southeast Asia where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-5) and was awarded the Commendation Medal.

“Bud is a personable guy with a great sense of humor,” remarked Managing Partner Dennis King. “He has a talent for using humor at just the right time to help keep things in balance, effectively lightening the mood when things get busy or stressful. Even more important, he has a keen ability to quickly analyze tough situations and exhibits great judgment in formulating practical solutions.” Having spent his entire professional life at KKA&J, Bud has acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to service clients with their business, financial and personal tax matters. “I enjoy the profession along with the rewards and challenges that come with maintaining a high level of client service,” remarked Bud when discussing his role as a financial advisor to clients. “The best part of my job is working with people and building a close relationship with them.

“I also believe KKA&J’s membership in Enterprise Network Worldwide, a global association of forward thinking accountants, will position the firm to assist our clients, and the clients of our association’s members, in this worldwide economy.”

Bud's professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA). He serves the community as Treasurer of the Burbank Noon Lions Club and the Burbank Community Foundation, and as Past President of the Burbank Chamber of Commerce.

Born in San Francisco as the son of a career Air Force N.C.O., Bud traveled extensively with his family while growing up. He now resides in Simi Valley with his wife, Cindi; they have two adult daughters. During his free time, Bud enjoys riding his Seadoo, fishing, golfing, ocean kayaking, and spending time at his beach condo in Carpinteria and lake property in the Mojave Desert.
